Full Name: Armando Dominguez Lucas

Armando’s single mother brought him and his brother Adolfo to Reynosa from Veracruz in search of a better life.  She soon found employment, but barely made enough to make ends meet, and didn’t have anyone to stay with the boys while she was away at work.  After visiting the home, she knew it would be the only way Armando and Adolfo would be able to continue their education, something that is very important to her, since she wasn’t able to finish her elementary education.
Armando has a shy personality but he has quite the sense of humor and a really big heart. He has really adjusted to life at the home and it’s great to see him excel in school.
