After living a life as a prostitute, Juan’s mother became a Christian in 2008. She brought Juan, along with his 3 younger brothers to the home, while trying to get her life together. Having a difficult time being away from them, she took them back at the end of the school year. She was then stricken with tuberculosis, which caused the 3 oldest to drop out of school. While visiting their colonia, we were heartbroken to come across their situation. CHI was able to once again open our doors, to this precious family in this time of need. Juan really seems grateful for the second chance he and his brothers have received for a brighter future.
