Maria’s mother works on a farm and has no money to feed Maria or to send her to school. A brother Roberto lives at the Refugio also.
Maria is a really nice young girl who has been accepted by the girls here and she has started to make great friendships with the girls here. Maria loves skipping and hanging out with her friends here at the home.
