“Colegio REFUGIO INTERNACIONAL” Opens it’s NEW Doors
“Today, August 24, 2009 we officially begin our labor for a new school year. This “Home” called Colegio Refugio Internacional opens it’s doors to receive you. All have left behind many interesting things, but now vacation time has come to an end.
From today forward, during this school cycle, we will have to leave our parent’s homes for a few hours and come to school; which too, is a “Home”. Your classmates & we, your teachers, now form part of an “Intellectual Family”
A new school year begins today and on behalf of all the staff, I welcome you and wish you great success!”

Malena, Maestra Gloria, myself, and all of our Board Members are still pinching ourselves over the fact that in less than one year, our onsite elementary school has :
- A new name – registered to the Home
- 2 new classrooms – finished in the nick of time!
- A new government license to have Pre-school & Kindergarten programs
But probably the most thrilling part, is the opportunity we have to touch the lives of so many more children.
88 students (40 from RIN) were enrolled by the end of the first week, and we fully expect to reach 100.
On behalf of each of them, their parents, the staff at RIN & of the school, we thank each person God used to make this a reality!
